Edit and enhance

A row of tools acts on your captions in this tab. A trial, a licence and Pro can all use the AI options. On Pro, and on a licence with active updates, the emoji, highlight and supersize suggestions use no AI credits. On a trial they use credits.

1. Format: Set lines per caption, characters per line, and where lines split.

2. Transcript: Swap the grid for one flowing transcript, for bulk edits.

3. Text Transformation: Reshape caption text in one click.

   • Uppercase, lowercase, or capitalize
   • Add or strip punctuation, or end captions with ..., ?, or !
   • Merge words with a drag, or delete a word with a click
   • Supersize the key words, and AI can suggest which ones

4. Highlight: Color key words, type a word to catch every match, or let AI pick them.

5. Emojis: Add emojis by hand or from AI suggestions, with optional animation.

6. Sound FX: Add a sound on each word, line or caption, with a built-in sound or your own file. Open it from the speaker icon. It uses no AI credits.

7. Retime: Press R, then drag a caption or a single word to re-sync it. Times snap to your frame rate, or type an exact start and end.

8. Translate: Translate captions into another language with AI, and toggle between the original and the translation.

9. Chapters: Auto-generate or hand-build chapter markers, then copy them, add them as timeline markers, or apply a chapter template.

10. Auto B-roll and Auto Zoom: Both open from the Captions tab, and each has its own page: Auto B-roll, which needs Pro because it pulls stock footage, and Auto Zoom.

11. Viral Moments and Paper Edit: Find the strongest short-form moments with AI, or keep only the passages you select. Both open from the Captions tab, and each has its own page: Viral Moments and Paper Edit.
