MotionCaption runs the same panel in both hosts. After Effects builds native text layers in your comp. In Premiere, MotionCaption installs its caption MoGRT and imports it into your project, so you only pick the look you want. Every Premiere gallery look renders on that one template.

In Premiere, open Propertiesin the Styles tab of the MotionCaption panel for the caption MoGRT's controls: text and stroke color, leading, shadows, word and line highlights, boxes, and glow. They write to the caption clips on your track. The Styles Generator runs in both hosts.

Cloud transcription returns a start and end time for every word, so word-by-word captions come straight from the transcript in both hosts. No word-by-word SRT to find or import.
