After Effects vs Premiere

MotionCaption works differently in each host. In After Effects, captions are native text layers you can edit like any other layer. In Premiere, captions use a MoGRT template, so some properties are limited by what the template can expose. Try the free trial and review the feature comparison before purchasing if you need full layer-level editing in Premiere.
