Auto Zoom

All features

Auto Zoom adds automatic punch-in zooms, the zoom-in-on-emphasis look common in talking-head and social videos. Open the Auto Zoom dialog, build a list of zooms, adjust them, then apply them to the timeline. It works in both After Effects and Premiere.

  1. Generate the list: Build zooms from AI suggest (it reads your captions and picks the most impactful moments, with a Calm, Balanced, or Energetic dial for how many), from markers (one per marker), or from cuts (one per shot). AI suggest spends AI credits. Markers and cuts do not.

  2. Add and edit zooms: Add a zoom by picking a span of transcript words, then review the list, edit each span, set a zoom amount (110% to 150%) per zoom or for all at once, and remove any you do not want.

  3. Motion and anchor point: Set the zoom-in and zoom-out speed separately (Snap, Fast, Medium, Slow, Very slow), and use the visual anchor-point picker to set exactly where each zoom centers, with a live framing preview.

  4. Hosts: Auto Zoom works in both After Effects and Premiere. MotionCaption applies the zooms for you, so you never place manual keyframes.
