Issue	What to try
Extension does not appear or is blank	Reinstall the ZXP and restart the app, then check the host version is 2023+. If you installed it manually rather than with the ZXP installer, turn the CEP debug flag on. Enable the CEP debug flag (PlayerDebugMode) Unsigned or manually installed extensions only load when Adobe's CEP debug flag is on. Turn it on, then restart After Effects or Premiere. macOS Quit After Effects and Premiere. Open Terminal and run `defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.11 PlayerDebugMode 1`. Use the number that matches your app's CEP version (usually 11 or 12). Reopen the app, then open Window → Extensions → MotionCaption. Windows Quit After Effects and Premiere. Press Win + R, type `regedit`, and open `HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.11`. Add a String value named `PlayerDebugMode` set to `1` (match the `CSXS.11` number to your CEP version). Reopen the app, then open Window → Extensions → MotionCaption.
Panel errors	Restart AE/PP, update GPU drivers, then try a new project
Transcription slow	Close other apps, prefer cloud if local RAM is low, and allow time for the local model
AI features fail	Check your internet, then your AI usage or plan
